The final edition of WeLaR’s Open Virtual Expert Café will take place on 5 June 2025 at 14:00 CET. Join us for an engaging discussion on how labour markets and welfare states evolve in response to digitalisation, globalisation, demographic shifts, and the green transition.
The Virtual Expert Café is an open, informal format built around participants’ contributions. It offers a platform to share ongoing research or projects, seek input on specific challenges, and engage in lively thematic discussions. Each presenter has 5 minutes to share their insights using one or two slides, followed by an informal discussion with attendees.
This session aims to strengthen cooperation and identify synergies between different scholars and projects. We particularly welcome contributions from researchers working on topics such as labour markets, welfare systems, platform work, social innovation, digitalisation, and the labour market integration of disadvantaged groups.
Whether you’re presenting new findings, highlighting a Call for Papers (CfP), sharing an event, or providing an update on a project, your input is welcome. We also encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues in your network.
