<p><strong>The Consumer Expenditure Surveys (CES)</strong> are a pair of nationwide household surveys conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to find out how consumers in the United States spend their money. It is the only federal government survey that provides information on the complete range of consumers&#8217; expenditures as well as their incomes and demographic characteristics. BLS publishes 12-month estimates of consumer expenditures twice a year with the estimates summarized by various income levels and household characteristics.</p>

Information can be extracted in a variety of formats, including API developer tools for integration into enterprise applications and workflows. Subscribers receive access to additional functionality to improve efficiency and specificity.</p>

            <p>The annual <strong>EIB Group Survey on Investment and Investment Finance (EIBIS)</strong> is an EU-wide survey that gathers qualitative and quantitative information on investment activities by small and medium-sized businesses and larger corporates, their financing requirements and the difficulties they face.The survey covers approximately 12 000 firms across the EU27 and 800 firms in the United States. It covers a wide spectrum of questions on corporate investment and investment finance. The survey’s data provide a wealth of unique firm-level information about investment decisions and investment finance choices.</p>

<p>The <strong>OECD</strong> indicators of employment protection legislation evaluate the regulations on the dismissal of workers on regular contracts and the hiring of workers on temporary contracts. They cover both individual and collective dismissals. The indicators have been compiled using the Secretariat’s own reading of statutory laws, collective bargaining agreements and case law as well as contributions from officials from OECD member countries and advice from country experts.<br />

The lenght of the time series for countries depends on when they joined the EU.</p>
